Expedition Leader Training in Slovenia
Do you want to take your DofE journey to the next level and experience an international expedition adventure?
Sign up for Expedition Leader Training in Slovenia, which will take place 9–14 August 2026 in the beautiful Slovenian countryside in the region Jelovica / Kropa.
During six-day programme Participants will refresh and expand their expedition skills, learn about expedition methodology from a leader’s perspective, and gain practical experience of working with a group of young people in an international setting. They can look forward to interactive workshops, team-building activities, navigation, campcraft, first aid, expedition planning and the practical expedition itself in the great outdoors.
Who is this trip intended for?
For those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, want to meet new people, are interested in the expedition side of DOFE, and wish to progress towards the role of expedition leader.
When: 9–14 August 2026
Where: Slovenia, Jelovica / Kropa
Age rating: 18+
Price: accommodation, meals and the programme are covered by Erasmus, as are travel costs (up to €285 for green travel/€211 for other types per person)
Application deadline: 25 June 2026
Participants must be able to attend the entire programme on the dates specified 9–14 August 2026. Due to the intensive programme and group dynamics, it is not possible to arrive late or leave early.
