Ambassador Academy is a training programme for DofE Ambassadors, supporting them in their development and helping them to effectively spread the ideas of the programme in their regions.
During the three trimesters, participants will acquire key skills in the areas of:

✔ Networking, professional development, personal brand and project management
Ambassadors meet at regular online meetings and they immediately try out new skills in real-life situations on practical tasks.
International inspiration
In the UK, DofE ambassadors such as youth advisorswho work with companies, government institutions and non-profit organizations. They help bring new perspectives and solutions.

Trimester 1: Basics of communication, storytelling and branding
Introduction to the Ambassadorial Academy and the basics of rhetoric
- Presentation of the Ambassador Academy programme.
- Familiarization with the project team, schedule and content of individual lessons.

- Introduction to DofE recruitment presentations.
- Basic components of a successful presentation.
- The biggest barriers and fears of public speaking and how to work with them.

Presentation skills and storytelling
The lesson is closely related to the previous lesson.

Branding and visual communication

- Practical tips for managing, creating and scheduling content (post frequency, hashtags, free tools for scheduling, creating and approving posts, and more).

Communication strategy and evaluation
- What content is missing from the DofE Centres' social networks? Jointly planning a small-scale campaign to promote the Ambassador Academy across the board.

Marketing promotion of the event
- Why marketing promotion is important for the success of an event. Identifying the target group, their interests and needs.
- Creating the persona of the ideal event participant.
- Setting marketing goals (increase awareness, increase registrations, raise funds, etc.).
- Creating a marketing message and using it for individual channels (social networks, posters, bulletin boards, intranet, etc.).

DofE Ambassadors

Marek Kubik
Mark is 17 years old and studies Information Technology at Educhem secondary vocational school. He is currently working on getting his school involved in the DofE programme and is a member of the Ambassador Academy. The DofE has mainly brought him life experience, motivation, self-development and self-knowledge. He has improved his communication skills, learned how to work in a team and started to organise his time better. He has stepped out of his comfort zone and pushed his boundaries further than I would have ever thought possible. After high school, he would like to continue his studies in college.

Tina Pokorná
Tina is 17 years old and studying Gymnasium of Dr. Karel Polesny. As well as being a DofE ambassador, she completes the gold level programme and is involved in lots of activities at her DofE centre - From hosting charity buffets to taking care of the center's message board and Instagram. She wants to show teens that the DofE is not just any hobby, but a meaningful pathway towards a more successful young person's future. She is preparing for university study abroad, preferably in the US.

Klaudia Skalka
Claudia is 18 years old and studies Gymnasium and Business Academy in Marianske Lazne. She is an ambassador and is fulfilling the silver level of the DofE programme. He is actively involved in the management of the DofE centre at his school. She organizes events, communicates with dofactors and manages the Instagram center. Her journey with the DofE has taught her that mistakes are opportunities to learn and that every experience contributes to personal growth. Through the programme and the Ambassador Academy she has met inspiring people and has been given the opportunity to work on herself as well as contribute to others. After finishing high school cI want to study law and go on to the DofE.

Jan Handler
Jan is 18 and is studying to be a nurse practitioner at Secondary Pedagogical School and Secondary Medical School Krnov. Among other things, he is involved in running the DofE centre at his school. Thanks to the DofE, he has done things I would never have dared to dream of before. He has made significant strides in public speaking, leadership and mentoring. The DofE has also provided him with a number of unique opportunities such as participating in a panel discussion at a UNICEF conference or joining the Ambassador Academy. In the future, he plans to continue his studies in his field of study at university and continue to work for the DofE.

Pavlína Střelková
Pavlina is 23 and studies marketing and business at the Mining University - Technical University of Ostrava. He represents DofE as ambasador of the programme and assists the regional manager and coordinator. The DofE has opened doors to projects she never dreamed of at the beginning. Thanks to the programme, she has learnt to manage her time better, handle multiple projects at once and develop her skills. She plans to finish her studies and pursue DofE projects.

Aneta Stärková
Aneta is 17 years old and studying Business Academy and Secondary Vocational School of Logistics in Opava. She is part of the DofE Ambassador Academy, manages her school's DofE bulletin board and helps with the organisation of the programme's events. The DofE gives her new experiences and friendships, the opportunity to learn new things and improve. In the future, he plans to successfully complete school, get his driver's license and English certificate, and travel.

Marian Velykyi
Marian is 17 years old and is studying autotronics at the Secondary School Polytechnic in Kyjov. He helps promote the DofE as an ambassador. Thanks to the DofE, he has learned not to give up in the middle and to achieve his goals. In the future he plans to study law at university. He also wants to remain active in the DofE community and act as a leader.

Magdaléna Ryjáčková
Magdalena is 17 years old and studies at the Gymnasium Pierre de Coubertin in Tábor. In addition to ambassadoring, she manages the Instagram of her DofE centre. DofE has taught her not to be afraid to set a goal and go for it. The programme has also helped her overcome her fear of new and unfamiliar things. She enjoys sharing her experiences, organising something for others and passing on what she loves. In the future, she would like to do something actionable and meaningful that will benefit others.

Martin Smažík
Martin is 18 years old and studies aviation at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He is part of the DofE Ambassador Academy and is completing the gold level of the programme. DofE gives him the opportunity to push his boundaries, gain new experiences and develop. It has helped him become a better leader and organiser and taught him to overcome challenges and seek new opportunities. His goal is to successfully complete his studies at CTU and then go on to work for major international companies in the aviation and transport management sectors.

Jan Havlásek
Jan is 17 years old and studies at the Matiční gymnasium in Ostrava. He is fulfilling his gold level in the DofE while helping his centre coordinator. As an ambassador, he helps to spread awareness of the DofE not only at his school - he holds talks for those interested, organises events and manages the centre's social networks. Through the programme, he has gained new skills, experiences and valuable insights that he may not have otherwise accessed. In the future, he would like to work with people.

Magdalena Retychová
Magdalena is 22 years old and studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics in Prague. As well as being an ambassador, she is the DofE online manager, expedition assessor and the face of the recruitment campaign. DofE gives her a space for self-realization, new opportunities, a community of great people and lots of experiences and opportunities. She would love to work in a position in the future that gives her a sense of purpose and fulfilment as a DofE.

Adéla Jurošková
Adéla is 17 years old and studying Business Academy and Secondary Vocational School of Logistics in Opava. As well as being an ambassador, she is involved in the DofE at her school: completing the silver level, improving the DofE noticeboard and organising DofE get-togethers. The expedition was a great but challenging and memorable experience for her. She is curious to see where else the DofE journey will take her. In the future she would like to get her driving licence and continue her studies at university after graduation.

Kristýna Kamarýtová
Christina is 16 years old and studies at the grammar school in Prague, programming branch. He greatly appreciates the opportunity to be part of the Ambassador Academy. In addition, he is trying to get his school involved in the program. Thanks to the DofE, she has gained a lot of great experiences and she is very grateful for them. The DofE helps her grow and acquire important skills and abilities such as time management, perseverance and collaboration. In the future, she would like to studied at a foreign university.

Anna Zouharova
Anna is 17 years old and studies at the Petr Bezruč Gymnasium in Frýdek-Místek. As an ambassador of the programme, she likes to use all opportunities to spread awareness about DofE, because she sees a great sense in it. She also tries to connect the programme with her other activities, such as working in the Záchranka app. The DofE has brought her new friends and memories that she will never forget. It has awakened her desire to continually push her boundaries and stand up for her goals and opened doors to the world. After graduation, she would like to continue her studies, preferably at a foreign university, while working as a ski instructor.
