OP JAK: Templates for non-formal education

This project is implemented in the period1. 9. 2024 - 31. 12. 2026 and focuses on supporting and training volunteers, staff and DofE activities. The project will fund training activities for our volunteers, organise community meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive non-formal education for young people.

The project aims to provide quality tools that facilitate work with young people, support their development and ensure that non-formal education is accessible to all. With this support we can systematically develop the DofE community and create new opportunities for young people in non-formal education.

Erasmus+: Accreditation and small partnerships

Erasmus+ Accreditation

Through Erasmus+ accreditation we support international cooperation and mobility of youth workers and young people involved in DofE. The project provides the opportunity to share experiences, be inspired by international approaches and organise student exchanges that enrich participants and partner organisations. These activities help young people and youth workers gain new skills and perspectives for their personal and professional development.

Erasmus+ KA2

As part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project, we are working with the DofE Slovak office to develop knowledge in the area of working with students with special educational needs (SEN). The project includes three focus groups that focus on key areas:

  • Focus group 1:Competence of leaders in working with pupils with SEN.
  • Focus group 2:Adaptation of the environment (ORB) to the needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Focus group 3:Activities and expeditions for participants with SEN, including their specifics.

This project supports leaders and organisations to integrate pupils with SEN into the DofE programme, ensuring the availability of training materials and sharing best practice.

Three Funds: the Ambassador Academy

The Ambassador Academy is a project aimed at training and supporting DofE ambassadors in the regions. During three trimesters of active work, participants develop presentation skills, the basics of communication and marketing, and project management. They are guided through the Academy by Alumni who share their experiences and provide individual support to participants.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the competences of the ambassadors so that they can effectively disseminate the ideas of the DofE programme, inspire new participants and strengthen the network of active supporters not only in the regions.

CEZ: Nuclear and Distribution Skills

Nuclear Skill

As part of the nuclear skills, students interested in technology and energy will expand their knowledge of nuclear energy, experience the operation of a nuclear power plant "first-hand" and meet experts in the field. Over the course of three months, students will gain theoretical knowledge, culminating in a visit to a nuclear power plant in the spring under the guidance of two secondary circuit operators.

Distribution skill

Distribution Skills is a project that introduces students to how electricity distribution works - from power stations to homes. Participants will learn about how operating electric motors work and the techniques used in electricity distribution. The program offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the electric grid and introduces the important role of the distribution system.
