Safety of DofE participants
At DofE, we believe that every young person has the right to a safe environmentwhere it can develop and grow. That is why it is important for us protection of the rights and safety of all participants an absolute priority - especially when it comes to children and vulnerable young adults.
We make sure that they live up to this commitment everyone involved in the DofE programme - our staff, volunteers, DofE centre staff, partners and supporters.
Protecting children and young people from violence, discrimination, any abuse (physical, sexual, emotional) or neglect is the responsibility of all of us.
It wouldn't have been possible without the dofaks and dofakes!
But we are not the only ones who create a safe environment - You, the dofaces and dofaces, play an important role! As friends and peers, you often see things that adults overlook.
If you notice something that's not right, or know of someone who's not feeling well, let us know.
How can you help?
- Are you seeing or experiencing something that is not right? This could be inappropriate behaviour, unethical behaviour or a situation where someone does not feel safe.
- Do you want to talk about it in person? You can report everything anonymously through Don't let it be or write to us at help@dofe.cz.
If you are interested in exactly how we protect the safety of our participants, take a look at our principles of protection of rights and security. The link to the documents can be found here.
We take every suggestion seriously and will take care of it. Don't be afraid to call!
