Are you looking for a challenge that is manageable?
Do you want to get better at what you enjoy and get a certificate that will be useful for your future studies and career?
Try the DofE! It's for anyone aged 14 to 24.
You choose activities in 3 DofE areas: skills, movement and volunteering. You then spend 1 hour a week on each of these. So in total, DofE will take you 3 hours a week. At the end of the day, you'll have an expedition with your friends.

Expeditions
There is a wide range of activities to choose from in the DofE areas. You'll set a goal that will motivate you and move you forward.
You choose one of 3 levels. This will determine how long you will follow the program.
You'll go on an expedition as a team and spend a few days in nature with your friends. You will be assisted by an experienced adult leader.
For direct entry to the bronze level you will pay 400 CZK, to the silver level 800 CZK and to the gold level 1200 CZK. If you have already completed the previous level, the fee for the subsequent level is reduced to 400 CZK. In case of advancement from bronze level to gold level you pay 800 CZK. So the maximum you will pay is 1200 CZK for all levels.

Prestigious certificate
The certificate you will receive after completing the programme proves not only that you have improved in your chosen activities, but also that you are persistent, responsible and not afraid to try and learn new things. Volunteering shows that you are not indifferent to the problems in your environment and that you know how to help. On an expedition you learn to plan, communicate, cooperate and deal with new situations. These are soft skills that you will appreciate no matter what you do in life!
The certificate is recognised by foreign universities and can also be beneficial in the admission process to Czech universities. It will certainly be useful where, in addition to knowledge or SCIO tests, students are also required to submit a portfolio, oral interview or examine the student's motivation to study a given field. Often this is the case in the fields of health, psychology and pedagogy, social work, journalism, art, architecture, design, etc.
