Within the DOFE Fund, the National Centre may launch a special call for support for special projects of DOFE centres. In 2026, we are launching this Special Appeal:

DOFE 2026 Special Appeal × The Bakala Foundation
You have a team in the centre that wants to to make a real difference in your environment? Do you see something in your school, community or municipality that could work better? Come with us.
DOFE centres can get up to 25 000 CZK on the team's community project led by at least two DOFE silver or gold level participants.
What we support
Projects that fall under one of the three thematic areas:
🎓 Education and opportunities - buddy programs, peer mentoring, tutoring, debate clubs, literacy workshops...
🏡 The place where we live - community gardens, clubhouses, chill-out zones, neighbourhood events...
🗣️ Youth Voice and Fair Community - school podcasts, student parliament, fact-checking, campaigns...
What's new this year
DOFE Ambassadors are with you from start to finish. They will help you pitch (brief introduction of the project) Promyslet, rate him and if supported, they will accompany you as Peer mentors during implementation.
Key terms
11 Sep 2026 - deadline pitche (brief introduction of the project) (Round 1)
1 October 2026 - deadline for full applications (2nd round)
November 2026 - Commission, final decision
30 June 2027 - project completion (short call scheme)
How to proceed
Find a team downtown - at least 2 silver or gold level participants, who have an idea or the desire to find one.
Get ready pitch (video, audio, poster or deck) and answer 5 simple questions about your project.
Take advantage of a consultation with ambassadors - arrange it through Nadika (contact below).
Send to pitch until 11. 9. 2026 to the assigned ambassadors.
