News
During the holidays, we have prepared several new features to facilitate your work with participants.
- For easier communication, we are changing the names of the SPORT, TALENT and ACTION WITH RETREAT areas. We will now use: MOVEMENT, OPPORTUNITY and RESIDENCY PROJECT.
- Participants can now pay for registration in the Online Record Book (ORB) by card directly online.
- The DofE programme is changing the landscape for adventure expeditions globally. For clarity, there are now only 15 conditions instead of the previous 20.
- We have launched a new YouTube channel with tutorials to help you and your participants with the administration of the programme. You can find it here >>https://bit.ly/DofEnavody

DofE story
International exchange in Bulgaria
Before the end of the school year, the first international exchange of leaders within the Erasmus+ project Non-formal Learning in the Formal Education took place in Bulgaria. Czech coordinators from three local centres had the opportunity to meet their colleagues from Bulgaria, Lithuania and the Netherlands. You can read the impressions of the participants here: https://bit.ly/ErasmusBulharsko
Forthcoming
In the national office we are currently preparing Research into the benefits of the DofE programme. All young people who complete the programme by the end of the year will receive a link to the questionnaire. We would be delighted if you would ask your participants to complete it. This is because with your help we can get very valuable data that will help us to continually improve the programme so that young people enjoy it, want to be involved, complete it successfully and can use it in their future lives.
Expeditions
First expedition training
Many of you will know how it goes on an adventure expedition. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it's incredibly hot and sometimes it snows. You need to prepare for all these possibilities. In the spring, the DofE National Centre organised its first ever expedition training, with 27 participants coming from different parts of the country.
