DofE Fund is designed to support young people and local DofE centres. Thanks to donor contributions, the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (DofE) enables everyone to take part, regardless of financial circumstances. The fund aims to reduce inequalities in access to non-formal education and ensure that the programme is available across the country. The partners of the DofE Fund are Progresus Group, GasNet, s.r.o. and The Kellner Family Foundation.
The DofE Fund enables:
- Equal access program to participants DofEA: The Fund helps all participants at Bronze, Silver and Gold level to achieve their goals, taking into account their individual capabilities and pace.
- Developing the Framework Programme in DofE centreehA: Supporting local centres helps to develop the programme and increase the quality of non-formal education in the regions. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the long-term sustainability and community dimension of these activities.
The DofE Fund's year-long calls:
- Support for DofE participants: Participants can apply for a financial contribution for activities that are part of the programme on an ongoing basis. Applications for this call can be submitted by DofE participants themselves and their DofE Centres and are processed until the budget for the year is exhausted.
- DofE Support CentreA: Local DofE centres can apply for support to develop their projects that increase the availability and accessibility of DofE, connect the local community and are directed by the DofE participants themselves.
Deadlines for approval of your applications:

- 1 November 2024 (all applications submitted up to and including 16 October 2024 will be evaluated)
- 24 January 2025 (all applications submitted up to and including 13 January 2025 will be evaluated)
- 25 April 2025 (all applications submitted up to and including 14 April 2025 will be evaluated)
Meet the DofE Fund:
- DofE Fund is open to DofE participants and centres meeting the requirements of the call. The main objective is to improve the accessibility of the programme in the Czech Republic and reduce inequalities in access to non-formal education.
- Support z DofE Fund is provided only to registered participants and centres registered with the National Centre.
- Eligible centres must comply with the Cooperation Agreement and have fulfilled all obligations to the National Centre.
- Applications are only submitted via the online form.
- DofE participants apply themselves or have a legal guardian apply on their behalf up to the age of 18. His/her DofE centre may also apply on behalf of the participant.
- DofE Centres submit applications for project support separately.
- Amount of contribution is limited and may be adjusted according to the assessment of the Commission and the Fund's available funding. Contributions may be reduced if the centres also receive support from other partners, such as regional authorities. For more information see https://dofe.cz/jak-dofe-financovat.
- Posts by are granted only for non-investment expenditure and may be used only for the approved purposes as specified in the contract.
