DOFE story

As part of the celebrations International Youth Day was held. Global DOFE campaignwhich highlighted the importance of supporting young people in preparing for the future. As part of the campaign the British Royal Family has lent its Instagram account to five DOFE participants from around the world. Among the selected countries were Canada, Kenya and Indonesia, in addition to The Czech Republic and its bronze prize winner, Tereza Stiborská. As a psychology student during the quarantine period, Tereza called people who felt lonely and needed contact. Members of the DofE Club went on a trip to Brda. They used the time in nature not only to pick cranberries, but also to plan autumn events. The DOFE Club invites all participants and alumni of DOFE to a picnic in Stromovka, which will take place on 16 September. For participants in the DOFE online programme 4 expedition weekends have taken place in the past weeks. In total, there were 86 participants of all levels took part, who were exploring the Moravian Karst and Křivoklátsko area. We are very happy that everything was successful and that in this way can start the expedition even those who do not have DOFE at their schools or could not participate in the expedition with their classmates. We are already planning other dates for next year and We look forward to seeing more participants.
