Environmental protection and sustainability are values that unite DofE and society GasNet. It is already preparing the Czech Republic for renewable gases: hydrogen and biomethane. At the same time, it is strengthening the culture of sustainability outside society. That's why GasNet has prepared a new challenge for dofaks to film a Green Expedition. It is the seemingly unimportant little things that ultimately change the world.
For example, sort out a suitable mode of shared transport. How about taking a filter bottle instead of a disposable petcock on an expedition, so you can drink water from a spring or river? Buy food for the expedition from a packaging-free shop or put it in a resealable bag at home. For example, you can pick up rubbish along the way and dispose of it in the nearest village or town. For example, you could film instructions on how to clean a clogged well and make a source of drinking water available to both animals and people. A green expedition is simply a challenge and it's up to you how you take it on.
Read the 6 rules and get started:
1. Make a short team video on the theme of the Green Expedition. For example, show in the video tips on how to protect and respect nature as much as possible when being outdoors. You can also try to implement a Zero Waste expedition and describe your packaging-free efforts in the video.
2. You can shoot video on your mobile phone, camera or camcorder. It's up to you.
3. Length of video? Max. up to 3 minutes, but shorter is better. You can also take inspiration from some of the winning videos from previous years when the theme was "respect":

4. Videos can be posted from April 22, 2023 to October 31, 2023 on any of the following social networks: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube with the hashtag #GasNetChallenge23.
5. Important note: please publish the video publicly so that it is easily traceable thanks to the hashtag, even after 31 October. So don't upload the video to stories, where it will disappear in a moment; or post it privately on a locked profile, where it won't be found or appreciated based on the hashtag.
6. Respect DofE values and safety when filming.
After the competition, DofE and GasNet representatives will select the first two winning videos. And you decide the third one by voting on Instagram.
