We are launching a special call for proposals from the DofE Fund with the financial support of the Bakala Foundation entitled Create a better world together - start today! 

For his dofac project you can get up to 25 000 CZK and professional help. The call will run until end of June 2025.

The aim is to support the implementation of projects aimed at three specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Get inspired by project examples.

 

Three selected SDGs:

Initiatives that promote accessibility and quality of education, foster critical thinking and encourage lifelong learning (e.g. buddy programme for newcomers to the school, debating competition, shadowing opportunities, talks by practitioners, DofE ambassadors, etc.) 

Projects aimed at improving the environment and infrastructure, sustainable urban and community development and the protection of natural resources (proposal for changes around the school - accessibility on bicycles, bicycle storage; Building a community garden, design and implementation of a clubhouse, chill-out zones in schoolse etc.)

Promotion of peaceful coexistence, justice for all and strengthening of transparent, accountable and inclusive institutions, access to information for all, organisation of school parliaments and communication with founders - fostering social responsibility; establishment and development of a school magazine, school podcast or radio broadcast, discussions with media literacy experts, fact-checking workshops, etc.).

The application for the special call is submitted by the DofE Centre.
 
The project must involve at least two dofacs or dofacs who are doing silver or gold level. 
 
Projects can be implemented with support from supervisors or mentors. 
  • Financial support up to 25 000 CZK for the implementation of your project.
  • Option consultation with expertswho are working on the topics.
  • Opportunity to present your project DofE partners and supporters.  

The application process will have two rounds

  • The application is in the form of a short (max. 3 minutes) video introducing your team and project. Be creative and convincing. Send the link to the video to fond@dofe.cz until 15 May 2025.
  • We will select teams and projects for Round 2 that we definitely don't want to lose.
  • Apply online for Round 2 until 30 June 2025. We will let the advancing teams know how to proceed in due course.
