NOTIFICATION OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF MANAGERS

data and therefore acts as the controller of your personal data.
We take a very responsible approach to the protection of your personal data and it is therefore very important to us that you also

The purpose of this Notice of Processing of Personal Data ("Notice") is to provide you with all
information about what personal data we process about you and for what purpose we do so, how your personal

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS ABOUT YOU
In connection with your participation in the DofE programme, the DofE processes the following personal data about you:
first and last name, maiden name, previous surnames, date of birth,
home address, email address, phone contact,
health insurance company details,
photographs, sound and/or visual recordings, whether in tangible, digitized or any other

HOW WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your DofE personal data is primarily collected from you (e.g. personal data provided in the application form
DofE and other personal data provided during your participation in the programme). Personal data in the form of photographs
and video and audio recordings may also be made directly by the DofE or by a third party for the DofE.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
DofE processes your personal data for the following purposes:
to enable your participation in the DofE programme,
internal records - ensuring communication with managers, organising events, training, education and development
leaders,
promotion of the DofE and the services and activities provided by the DofE; and
compliance with the DofE's statutory duties.
ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The DofE is entitled to process your personal data because the processing of your personal data is necessary for:
the conclusion and performance of a contract relating to your participation in the DofE programme,
compliance with the DofE's statutory duties,

consent you have given us in the past, or
safeguarding the legitimate interests of the DofE, consisting primarily in (i) safeguarding the objects of the DofE,
(ii) organising events for DofE participants; and (iii) exercising their legal rights.
TO WHOM WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In order to comply with its legal and other obligations, the DofE is also required to transfer some of your personal data to
to third parties. When transferring your personal data, the DofE emphasises the security of your personal data and therefore your
only transfers personal data to entities that meet the same or more stringent security requirements.
DofE transfers your personal data to the following entities:
accountants, auditors, solicitors and other specialist advisers to the DofE,
state and/or administrative institutions,
external companies providing DofE IT solutions (software, hardware, cloud),
external companies providing DofE communications and marketing services (e.g. operators
social networks),
other external companies supplying DofE with the services necessary for its operation,
to other DofE organisations in the European Economic Area
TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ABROAD
Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.
PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the relevant legislation, DofE uses the following to ensure the security of your personal data

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We keep your personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which the personal data are

Act, in others it is adequately set by the DofE. The retention period of personal data for marketing purposes is
10 years.
YOUR RIGHTS
In connection with the protection of your personal data, we would also like to inform you of all the rights that
