Dear dofactors and dear leaders, our program needs your help again! We want to show everyone, how socially beneficial it is to participate in DofE activities.
How do we achieve this? We are currently carrying out extensive research with colleagues in the UK on Social Return on Investment (SROI) to see what benefits DofE has in terms of social return. SROI analysis seeks to calculate the economic value of a DofE programme for the future lives of young people within a particular society. In simple terms, it is a financial quantification of the value that the programme delivers compared to the resources invested in the programme. That is, how much is returned to society, for example, by participants volunteering. And this is what Questionnairethat we need you to fill out. With the data collected, we will be able to present the benefits of the DofE programme to school founders, companies, sponsors and other partners. The data collected will help the development of the DofE not only in your Local Centre but across the country. The questionnaire is aimed at all participants, alumni and adults involved in the programme (leaders, expeditioners etc.).
