Safety of DofE participants

DofE supports the development of young people and it is our absolute priority to ensure that their rights and safety are protected in all activities and projects that affect children and particularly vulnerable young adults. We consider it our duty to ensure that DofE staff and volunteers, staff at local DofE centres, our supporters and partners fulfil this commitment with the utmost rigour and personal responsibility.

It is everyone's responsibility to protect children from violence, discrimination, any kind of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional) or neglect. We also encourage children and young people themselves to become actively involved in the rights and safety protection system and actively help to protect their peers and spread awareness of this issue.

On the website, we publish documents that define the DofE's principles for the protection of the rights and safety of children, and particularly vulnerable young adults, describe the procedures that apply when reporting any breach or suspected breach of these principles, and provide contacts for those responsible for the DofE's principles for the protection of the rights and safety of participants.

Do you feel that the rights or safety of any of the participants have been violated? Have you witnessed such a situation? Are you unsure if such a situation has occurred and what you should do? Do not hesitate to contact us via emailhelp@dofe.cz, by mail, or via the form on this page.
